you might think that I’m bias but in reality I’m the toughest critic of the Russian popculture. Among thousands of one-song singers, it’s a very rare occasion that they come up with something worth paying attention to. But this one is a very special so I couldn’t help but share. The song itself might not stand out too much but it’s the visuals that keep haunting me every time I hear it. The color palette so delicate and luring that I want to watch the video over and over again just to indulge in every detail. Check it out for yourself.

It’s been a while since I’ve made a “walking in…” post. Well, the only places I’ve been walking in recently were grocery stores and same old sightseeing places in LA with gazillion guest visitors last month. But last weekend we were so lucky to go for a wedding trip to Charleston, South Carolina.
To say that I was excited is to say nothing. I LOVE historic architecture and we don’t have it much here in LA. Charleston was founded in mid-17th century with tons of treasures to explore. Needless to say I was completely enchanted with charming little street, white porches and intimate gardens of residences, and southern food with its buttery sauces.

I’ve been an awful blogger lately. With a completely unbalanced April schedule I barely could find time for sleep let aside writing and inspiring you guys. I’ll try to improve as getting back on tracks.

May be it’s today’s celebration of Earth Day at work, or my constantly opening pantry door that reminds me of an overdue recycling but I’ve been really thinking about my consumer/re-user habits. I’ve already shared with you that I’m far from an impulse buyer, I really need to love the new thing to take it home. Sometimes it even takes to walk away from it and see if it worth coming back for.
Plastic/Glass/Paper recycling is not must, but I’m a strong believer in cloth recycling. No, I’m not manifesting to run to a thrift store this second. In fact, your own closet must be enough. Need some inspiration, I’ve got plenty. I recently discovered “Atlanic-Pacific” blog and can’t get enough. Beside getting some fantastic eye candy, you’ll get some ides how to recycle your own cloth into the infinite number of looks really. I dare you to stop looking at the first page.
Run by an incredibly talented stylist with her sweetheart as a photographer, it’s like a look book of a real person styling for daily routines. And aren’t those routines always more fun what you are dressed up to face them. What a perfect combination of blog partners too. If only I could wake my hubby up in the early am to snip a picture of me everyday :)

This Chinese design genius totally topped my creative overload last week. Before I didn’t even know that such state of mind exists. Browsing blogs and design magazines I always left me wanting more. While researching for two hotel projects I’m working on right now I came across Andre Fu and my design cravings were fully satisfied with the first few clicks.
