With the summer finally here, the vacation thoughts start creeping into the head whether you want it or not. And all of the latest Cannes-abomination doesn’t help at all. I flipped through the red carpet images (with the healthy dose of jealousy, I must say) and picked a few note-worthy looks. Now I know what to wear to the red carpet (when I finally get my invitation in the mail) – the deep blues! Long or short, they just bedazzle against the bright red!
…on the other hand, nude and pale colors work just as well if you have a proper sun-tan to pull it off. Ah, next year…for sure.

Ranking first on my list of necessities is a pleated maxi skirt…preferably in color. I’ve been looking for it for quite a while now and if I won’t find it in time for the summer I’ll be VERY mad at the fashion gods up there. So if you see a good one, send it my way or else…

May be it’s today’s celebration of Earth Day at work, or my constantly opening pantry door that reminds me of an overdue recycling but I’ve been really thinking about my consumer/re-user habits. I’ve already shared with you that I’m far from an impulse buyer, I really need to love the new thing to take it home. Sometimes it even takes to walk away from it and see if it worth coming back for.
Plastic/Glass/Paper recycling is not must, but I’m a strong believer in cloth recycling. No, I’m not manifesting to run to a thrift store this second. In fact, your own closet must be enough. Need some inspiration, I’ve got plenty. I recently discovered “Atlanic-Pacific” blog and can’t get enough. Beside getting some fantastic eye candy, you’ll get some ides how to recycle your own cloth into the infinite number of looks really. I dare you to stop looking at the first page.
Run by an incredibly talented stylist with her sweetheart as a photographer, it’s like a look book of a real person styling for daily routines. And aren’t those routines always more fun what you are dressed up to face them. What a perfect combination of blog partners too. If only I could wake my hubby up in the early am to snip a picture of me everyday :)

I’m not a an emotional shopper. Spending my hard-earned cents never improved my mood, quite on the opposite, I have to be very inspired and in the upswing in order to sign up for the day in the mall and successfully complete the shopping list. So I always do my homework before I go, I search for styles that like and pieces that I need before hand. There’s nothing worse than spend the whole day looking and return home empty-handed.
These fresh looks from H&M definitely go to my shopping inspirational files.

I’m so looking forward to the first weekend in three years of doing-nothingness. All the finals are behind, how exciting is that! At the same time it feels a little weird not to have a big goal ahead, being a planner by nature this situation makes me anxious. So I’ve decided to start planning the next “BIG THING”. A European vacation! While I’m positively sure which country I want to visit next, the schedule availability doesn’t look that bright at all. Oh well, I’ll start planning anyways…with the perfect wardrobe for a perfect European Vacation. No schedule can deprive a girl of dreaming about it
